i'm curious what kind of plots/synopsis/concepts people create that have been used a lot and are now boring.

When I saw a psychological horror movie (which is about a dad who believed that a hospital had taken his family but in reality it hadn't) I was supposed to feel "scared" but I didn't feel anything like it.

Any advice on how to feel the real "psychological terror"?

It is a game he invented inspired by those running and platforming games. It consists of the character (it's a rabbit, obviously) having to stand on the platform while a reward (like the coin or other things) appears while a series of challenges try to make it fall from the conveyor belt.
